A little background information…

I joined Coningsby Guides in 2000 and I’ve never left! Running the unit for past 14 years I ran my first unit summertime international to Switzerland in 2019 to mix things up from the usual camps and residentials.

Why did you take on this role? and what lies ahead?

I am excited to bring some useful adult activities and training sessions full of practical skills to take back to units and camps – think fun, food and fires! For Guides, I want leaders to feel they are supported, and wants to be a source of knowledge for them. I am also keen to bring new Guide events to the table… watch this space!

Tell us your favourite Guiding memory…

I went to Poacher aged 10 as a Guide and it is absolutely the reason I am still a leader today!
